Our newly commissioned research has revealed there were more than 19,800 noise nuisance complaints across the East Midlands last year with some surprising areas topping the noisy neighbourhood chart.

As we continue our quest to build up a noise nuisance map of the UK, we recently turned our attention to our fair Capital, London. As the statistics rolled in, it became clear pretty quickly that London was very different to the rest of the UK.

Cirrus has always been keen to follow trends on noise nuisance. We are heavily involved in this sector, so in 2015 we launched a campaign in to dig down to local level and see what the situation was like at the grass roots. Following campaigns in Yorkshire and the North West, our latest research has now unveiled a noise nuisance map for the North East.
The latest version of the Cirrus NoiseTools software is now available for download. This new version of NoiseTools incorporates a number of updates and enhancements over the previous version v.1.6.4, including support the new doseBadge5 Noise Dosimeter and a new format for audio storage, as well as a number of updates and enhancements.
